Who watched the Oscars last night? The fashion trends seemed to be lots of blush, nude, black and white, and a few pops of jewel tones. I thought it would fun to translate some of these red-carpet looks into home decor . . .

First up, Naomi Watts.

If her Armani gown were a room, it would be this one:

Didn’t Lupita Nyong’o look beautiful?

Her pearl-studded dress by Calvin Klein would live here:

Gwyneth Paltrow’s pink-and-flower combo by Ralph and Russo . . .

. . . reminds me of this living room:

And Reese Witherspoon . . .

could wear her Tom Ford gown into this equally elegant bathroom and blend right in!

Anna Kendrick’s coral Thakoon gown . . .

And Emma Stone looked amazing in this chartreuse Elie Saab gown,

  1. That’s great. Best post Academy Awards story amongst so many that are all alike. Great way to show how influential fashion truly is and how it extends into our home. Brilliant.
