We are proud to feature original artwork when we stage homes for sale—we believe that the quality of what we hang on the walls really sets Visual Jill homes apart from other homes on the market. We look for artists with styles that are a good match for our design aesthetic, and we’ve been lucky to work with several great ones over the last three years. Our latest “Traveling Art Gallery” artist is Harry Gruenert. Harry is also a carpenter and builds the art panels he paints on. His large and challenging paintings convey his rich sense of the mystery of abstract art and the importance of texture, authenticity and concreteness.
In other news, our beloved artist friend Alan Miguel Hall (also known as “amiguel”) has his first solo gallery show, running until August 3 at Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Center. Alan has generously loaned his wonderful work to us for over two years now, and we are happy to see him receive this recognition. This show features new pieces, including these two that we recently featured in a modern townhouse:
We are honored to showcase the work of these talented artists in our homes!
